Red Light Therapy is an incredible medicine for many reasons, but as with everything, there are special circumstances that require special consideration. Check it out.

Yes, you sure can. Red Light Therapy with FringeLights is a great option for pets for many of the same conditions it is used for humans. The FringeLight wraps may be easiest to use for animals and animals should always be supervised with use. Since they can’t talk (or at least ours can’t). Start with the lowest brightness setting for their first 10-20 minute treatment session and gradually increase the brightness intensity and/or treatment time. Red Light therapy is a go-to safe and effective treatment for their aches and pains, just like it is for ours.


While red light therapy is generally considered safe and low-risk – certain categories of people have not been clinically studied for safety for effectiveness. We recommend consulting with a doctor to make sure they approve of any new health products such as Red Light Therapy.

Scientific studies  have shown red light therapy to be safe and beneficial for our health. However, We recommend consulting with a doctor to make sure they approve of any new health interventions, such as Red Light Therapy for your infants or children. 

If approved by your doctor, infants and children must always be supervised by an adult when using red light therapy. If your infant or child is non-verbal, be aware that they may not be able to indicate if the light is uncomfortably warm. Make sure to check their skin temperature frequently.


You can, but it won’t work as well. The most optimal results are achieved through having your skin absorbing the light from your frinelight device.
